Pit Bulls & Parolees You Watch. We Give.

A Personal Thank You From Tia Torres!
Stephanie Diani/DCL

I cannot thank the fans, viewers, supporters enough. So many of you ask "how can I help?" By watching our show and participating in the "You Watch, We Give" event, do you realize that you single-handedly helped keep our doors open? That you helped feed an unwanted Pit Bull? That you helped keep that unwanted Pit Bull happy here until his forever home comes? For that we are forever grateful and words cannot express our thanks. Thanks for loving these Pit Bulls and our parolees as much as we do.

More About the You Watch. We Give. event on Animal Planet:

You Watch. We Give. is part of the network's non-profit initiative Reach Out. Act. Respond. (R.O.A.R). Based on the number of viewers who watch Animal Planet on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 10 PM E/P for an all-new episode of Pit Bulls & Parolees, funds will be donated to give thanks to Tia Torres for her tireless dedication to the pit bull breed.

In this year's You Watch. We Give. episode it's Tia’s most dangerous rescue mission yet, as she risks her life to rescue a pair of stray pit bulls hiding beneath a two-ton stack of unstable lumber. Then, a colorful bayou couple seeking to fill the void left by the recent passing of their pit bull visits Villalobos in the hope of adopting another dog. Later, New Orleans' arena football team recruits a Villalobos favorite to be their on-field mascot.

Last year, the You Watch. We Give. episode yielded a donation of $50,000 with 1.3M viewers! The donation was used to help pay for the disaster relief recovery and care for the more than 200 dogs at Villalobos Rescue Center that were affected by Hurricane Isaac.

R.O.A.R. is Animal Planet's national campaign that leads the way for viewers to take action and be a voice for animals. To learn more about it, click here.

And to learn more about Tia, Villalobos and Pit Bulls & Parolees, visit our Pit Bulls & Parolees site.

Animal Planet will donate $.10 for every viewer who tunes in up to a total of $50,000. Actual numbers determined based on cumulative viewers as measured by Nielsen.
