1 pound cheese, grated

1 1/3 cup dry white wine

1/2 teaspoon chopped chives

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon butter, to butter the bottom and sides of fondue pot

Place wine and cornstarch in a pot and heat gently to a simmer. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Butter the sides of your fondue pot. Carefully pour into your fondue pot. Keep on a low heat.

Savory additions to the sauce:

Add 2 tablespoons pesto

Add 1/2 cup shredded crab meat

To dip:


Grilled vegetables

Cooked Parisian potatoes
